Green Escape has been built in an environmentally responsible way by using mostly sustainable and recycled materials, while respecting the surroundings and employing local workforce. The use of natural local building materials has allowed us to be in harmony with the environment while at the same time offering our guests accommodations with a touch of modernity. The resort is dedicated to the preservation of a pristine environment where physical and mental rejuvenation comes naturally. We want to protect the environment by minimizing our human impact and encourage an alternative and eco-friendly way of travelling. Therefore, we are focusing on several environmentally friendly practices, such as:
Solar panels have been artfully integrated into the resort’s design to provide it with the needed electricity. This allows the resorts to be almost energy independent. Whenever possible we use low watt powered light bulbs in order to reduce the amount of energy used. All our employees have been trained to switch off unnecessary lights or other electronic devices when not used. We also kindly ask our guests to turn off lights & AC when exiting their rooms. Each bungalow has a powerful AC system allowing to cool down the room in only a few minutes.
The pool has been built with local stones, and is treated with an ionizer system which allows us to provide healthy water (only 5% of chemicals). Our Ionizer system uses natural mineral ions to transform our swimming pool into a fresh-water oasis. This green technology is better for your health and also allows us to reduce our footprint on the world.

Water has always been the most precious resource on any island. Knowing that every drop counts, we aim to minimize the resort’s water consumption by combining our own initiatives and our guest’s efforts. We have installed water savings showerheads to help reduce the resort’s water usage without altering the shower performances.

We are working with a waste water treatment system allowing us to reuse all water to water the garden.
All the garbage of the resort is recycled, it’s sorted out on a daily basis and handed over to our local waste management collector. We are minimizing the use of plastic bottles by proving glass bottles in each room. Our toiletries (soap, shampoo & conditioner) bottles are also refilled to minimize our waste.
We use locally made & natural products to avoid releasing toxic elements in the air. Our natural products also allow us to lower the resort’s environmental impact. Owing to environmental considerations, Green Escape Resort is changing towels & bed lines every three days. If you require fresh towels please leave your soiled towels in the sink and our housekeeping team will replace them for you. Don’t hesitate to ask our management team if you require bed linens to be changed more frequently.
Green Escape aim to ensure that our employees have received the necessary training to carry out their work in an environmentally responsible manner. We are also raising awareness of our fragile environment amongst the local communities.
Green Escape is supporting Bali Life Foundation, a small charity, but with a really big heart, who strive to provide love & care for those who are underprivileged with the aim of giving them hope, dignity and a purpose. Acknowledging that today’s children are our future generation we attempt to help Bali Life Foundation in every possible way. You can also bring & donate items from home like clothes, books, school supplies, toys, etc. We will drop them off at the foundation for you.
